Hello all! This is my latest figure rom Jeff Shiu
Miniatures. He is a MG 42 gunner circa 1943/44. I've listed him as being at
Kharkov but is probably in the proper garb to go all the way to Cherkassy I
would think. He is an absolutely outstanding sculpt and was a pleasure to lay a
brush on. As always he is done in all vallejo acrylics.

200MM Confederate Infantry...
Here is my
latest figure, completely out of my realm but with my trip to the APG show I've
developed a taste for civil war soldiers, particularly Confederates. I believe
this is similar to my affections for WWII Germans because of the different
looks in uniforms or non-uniformity if you will. Now I know infantry should have
blue trim instead of yellow but I took some liberties with this figuring this
jacket could have been swiped from a dead or wounded cavalry soldier (I really
like the look of the yellow is the real reason). The kit is an older release
from Jaguar which as far as I know is OOP. He was very hard to paint in this
big scale but the efforts I feel were well worth it since he is a beautiful
addition to my collection.

Sgt. Elias...
this is the
Bravo-6 figure which is obviously Sgt. Elias (Willem DaFoe) of Platoon fame. It
is a commission work and is really very nice for a 1/35 scale figure. I had a
little of a hard time getting good photos because I'm not used to photographing
singular 1/35 scale figs. He as usual is painted in Vallejo acrylics.
