SS Tank Commander...
Here is a
piece I just finished the morning of the Long Island Historical Miniatures
Show. He is a 1/9 scale Waffen SS tank commander in a Panther cupola. I wanted
to try some new techniques as far as finishing the look of leather so I thought
this would be perfect. As always he and the cupola are painted in Vallejo
Acrylics along with Citadel brand paints for the metallics. The cupola was
weathered with oil washes, MIG pigments and graphite powder.

Sergeant John Rosengrant, 1st Armored...
This is my
latest work. It is John Rosengrant's self portrait of an American tanker sitting
atop a Sherman. This is an OOP 200MM kit that I scored on e-bay a few months
ago and I really loved painting it because it includes my 2 favorite things to
model, armor and figures. The piece is as always painted in Vallejo Acrylics
except for Citadel acrylics for the metallics.

is as always painted in Vallejo acrylics with the exception of Citadel for the
metallics.

Aleksandra Samusenko...
Here is my
latest figure. It is a new release in which I was commissioned to do the box
art for Minuteman Models. It is a portrait bust of female tanker and Hero of
the Soviet Union recipient Aleksandra Samusenko. Never painted a female bust of
this size so it was an interesting little project. Enjoy!

Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria...
This is my
latest commission piece that I just completed for a client. He is a World war I
historical figure based on the Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria. He is a
Ulrich Puchala release in 1/16th scale. Overall sculpt is good but the casting
was not executed very well, very uneven almost clumpy in the areas of the face,
headgear, hands and boots but with some work he turned out quite nice. He is
painted in vallejo acrylics as usual.
