This is a
new release in which I painted the box art for. It is a continuation of a
series of historical busts by Minuteman Models. Her name is Natalya Meklin
Soviet Fighter ace and member of the famed Night Witch Squadron during WW2. She
is as always painted in Vallejo acrylics with the exception of Citadel for the
metallics.

Aleksandra Samusenko...
Here is my
latest figure. It is a new release in which I was commissioned to do the box
art for Minuteman Models. It is a portrait bust of female tanker and Hero of
the Soviet Union recipient Aleksandra Samusenko. Never painted a female bust of
this size so it was an interesting little project. Enjoy!

Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria...
This is my
latest commission piece that I just completed for a client. He is a World war I
historical figure based on the Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria. He is a
Ulrich Puchala release in 1/16th scale. Overall sculpt is good but the casting
was not executed very well, very uneven almost clumpy in the areas of the face,
headgear, hands and boots but with some work he turned out quite nice. He is
painted in vallejo acrylics as usual.

Latest Diorama - "Sniper"
Trying to
focus mainly on the figures here is my latest 1/35th scale creation.
This depicts the fighting in the rubble of Arnhem by the galant British
"Red Devil" paras. The dio depicts Red Devils trying to advance and move
one of their gravely wounded comrades by way of an British airborne
jeep in the area. As the Jeep tries to position itself by reversing
toward the trolley the driver is suddenly hit by sniper fire. The
kneeling gent with the sten and the piat team try to use some covering
fire until the driver can be dragged to a safer place. The rest of the
troops are caught in the open some crouching to avoid another shot, some
yelling in confusion and a couple of troops pointing in the direction
which they think the shot may have came. It might be hard to tell
exactly whats happening from the pics so I figured I'd explain it to
help it along. The buildings, Jeep, trolley and about 80% of the figures
are all modified to some extent. I used Vallejo acrylics along with MIG
oil paints and MIG pigments to complete the entire scene. Any questions
or comments greatly appreciated.

120MM Kuban Cossack in German service...
Matt
Wellhouser told me to go back to painting Germans so here ya go Matt, sort of.
This is a 120MM figure which was given to me by my friend Chris Mrosko. I
believe he was supposed to be a Kirin release some years ago but never quite
made it for whatever reason. I painted him as usual in Vallejo acrylics.

U.S Marine circa 1804 Tripoli Invasion...
Hello all
here is one from Minuteman Models that I was lucky enough to do the box art
for. This is one completely out of my realm (lots of colors) but I had a great
time doing him. You can look for him as a new release very soon. As usual he is
painted in Vallejo acrylics.
