200MM Totenkopf MG42 gunner...

here's one I did a while ago but never displayed on this site. He is a 200MM resin offering by the now defunct company Kirin. He is certainly a sought after figure and is quite rare. He is painted in vallejo acrylics.

120MM German Medic...

Here is one that will be the boxart for the General Issue brand of figures that will be released by Jose Rodriguez and his company Tiger Productions. Tiger Productions is mainly known for their diorama accessories in 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72 scale but Jose is now starting to cast 120MM and 1/35 scale figures. I found this an interesting subject and jumped at the chance to do it. He is in winter garb (most likely suitable to early war eastern front but can work for mid or even late western front as well) and is painted in Vallejo acrylics as always. pics are not greatest but each time I'm getting a little better.

Latest Diorama - "Melons"

Hello all here are some bad pics of my latest creation simply called "Melons" (see the abundance of watermelon and a young busty Russian tanker and you'll know why it's called such) . This dio depicts some Russian troops and tankers stumbling upon a war souvenir, the mammoth sized Ferdinand. They enjoy some melon and some light conversation with the locals. I used mostly stock figures for this, a mish mosh of MIG figs, Wolf, Hornet and a few from Doug's Originals thrown in as well. This certainly was a lot of fun to build since this involved many techniques that I am not accustomed to like groundwork and trees. The Russian style hut was built completely from scratch with plasticard, wood and acetone as was the adjacent tool shed. One request if I could from someone who would know, PLEASE SUGGEST A NEW CAMERA FOR THIS TYPE OF WORK I DO!!!! I'm really growing sick and tired of the same blurred, non descriptive, undetailed pics I'm achieving with my Canon G6. I think it's time to move onto something different. All comments welcome.

Regards From Komrade Molotov...

Hello all, this is my latest commission work for a client of mine which I call "Regards From Komrade Molotov". It is set in late war Germany and certainly has a bit of artistic license such as the evil looking SS fellow in all black and a Russian soldier appearing out of a hole in the base throwing a Molotov cocktail at the unknowing villans of the scene. I came up with this idea after my client and I discussed putting some accesories in the hole of the base ike barbed wire and maybe a skeleton or something to that effect. I thought this would be pretty unique and hope it is well received. The base BTW is one of those Ken Thomas offerings where some of the wood has rotted away, that is where the Russian soldier is situated. Entire scene is all Vallejo acrylics as usual!
